A meeting about the EDUOPEN Network Project will be held on Tuesday, April 5th, starting at 10 in the Auditorium Complesso di Santa Lucia (Via Ariosto, 35). The Project aims at providing a catalogue of courses offered as MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) – this met the interest of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, and the project was thus awarded a specific grant of 100,000 Euros. 13 Italian universities will take part in the meeting: Polytechnic of Bari, Bari Aldo Moro, Ferrara, Foggia, Genoa, Modena and Reggio Emilia, Parma, Milano-Bicocca, Venice Ca' Foscari, Salento, Perugia, Bolzano, Politecnica delle Marche. The project has the University of Foggia as leading institution; responsible for the organizational, managerial and technological aspect is EDUNOVA, the Inter-University Centre for joint e-learning services linking the Universities of Ferrara, Modena and Reggio Emilia, and Parma. The day will start with the greetings of Livio Zerbini and Andrea Maggi (SE@ - Centre of communication technologies, innovation and learning at a distance) and will include sessions dedicated to the status of the project, the kick-off event, the scheduling of courses and the opening of membership to cultural and scientific institutions.
