With EduOpen, you can also gain academic qualifications, such as Specializations (Red Label) or Masters (Dark Red Label).
In order to gain a Specialization (‘Corso di Perfezionamento’ in Italian) you will have to complete one of those pathways on the EduOpen platform which grant a Specialization diploma upon completion. A Specialization path requires at least 15 ECTS: to earn them, you will need to formally register for the course(s), pay your registration fee to the University offering the diploma, and pass the final evaluation tests (i.e. take the exam) at the same University. The same rules apply as laid down by the University in question.
In the Italian higher education system, a Master is a formal academic qualification which is granted once students have earned at least 60 ECTS (it is not a Master’s Degree as generally understood in the Anglo-Saxon system). Again, to earn a Master Diploma you will need to register for the courses, take the evaluation tests (exams) required by the University which offers the certificate, and follow regulations as laid down by the University in question.
In order to obtain either a Specialization or a Master certificate, you’ll need to already possess all Verified Certificates provided by the single courses in the pathway.
